The Trust operates the Discover Carmichael Visitor Centre, where Scotland’s story is told through realistic wax model scenes and informative storyboard interpretation. The scenes also depict crafts and culture from the countryside in this district. The visitor centre has a ‘Carmichael Clan Room’ dedicated to the Carmichael Clan family history and the thousand-year period that the family has lived on the land. The Trust is set up to undertake activities and events and provide facilities that benefit the Parish of Carmichael and preserve its heritage.
