The church is situated in Moredun, South-East Edinburgh. it is easily accessible by public and private transport. All are warmly welcomed to join us in worship. Sung Eucharist is celebrated at 2.30 pm on the first Sunday of each month, and at 10.30 am on all other Sundays. On the first Wednesday of each month Sung Eucharist is celebrated at 12.30 pm. on all other Wednesdays there is a Prayer Service at 12.30 pm. However, during Advent and Lent each Wednesday 12.30 service is a Sung Eucharist. The Rector, Rev’d. David Dixon, is supported by two assistant Priests: Rev’d. Alice Anderson and Rev’d. Deryck Collingwood. St. Barnabas’ provides many additional services for the community. The Rector is Chaplain to the Erskine, Gilmerton and Inch Care Homes. We work with two local primary schools, and in partnership with other churches and Christian organisations in the area to provide help and support in the community, including the local food-bank.
