The object of Ihe Church is to advance the Chrlstian talth mainly in Irwgrness bul also throughout
ScotL8nd and the rest of the world. by means consistentwith the teachlngs of the Christlan Bible. These
include worship, ministry, prayer. wltness. education. community servlce and the support of agencies
and indlvlLlu&is and other oiganlsations involved in Christian missionary work and the relief of povertyor
other social needs.
Activities and ¥¢hlevements
Over ihe past ya8r and under Pastor M8rley's ministrylhe Chur¢h h08 contlnuad to develop with more
visitors att8ndingth8 worship ond prayer meetings. The audio recordings ofthe 8etvices are now
avsilgblo weekly on both the Church website end that of the Wicket Gate magazlne 8nd so his ministry is
&vailable to many more listeners. The articles from the Wick8t G8te Magazine were also a blesslngto
many people. Other outreach work contlnu811 overthe course of the yegr wilhln ih& City Centre.

The Churoh's Chlio Protection andVulner8ble Adults Pollcy was updated. Trainingwas undertaken. and
Ihe policy is almost completed.

Mission Fund £100 to the Open-Air Mlsslon. From the General Fund, EMF lor V￿rk In Mars8111e £100. For
work in India, Winukonda Missionary and Medical Fellowshlp £400. P8slor Mangahas for work Phlllppines
£50, Roundwood Trust Icoverlng manyworlsj are891 £1000 and the Trinitarian Bible Society £200.
Reserveg
As a result. th8 surplus 18 £5.11812023-d8ficit £13.2471 for the year. the charlty held unrestricted funds
of £61,06S12023- £55.9491 at the year end date. These reserves are held for the daylo d8y runningc05ts
oflhe charrty along with 8ryunplanned expenses or emergency costs as th8y arise e.g., building repairs.
The current level of reSe￿S Is deemed adequat8 for ih88e purposes. It Is the intention that these funds
w(11 be used in the fuiure io replBcethe exlsting Church and library buildings Y4i1h new modern premlses.
The linancial position of ihe Church remalns Siable with sufficient funds to uphold thts Church's
oblectlve8 forlhe forthcomlngllnÉncisl year.
