ML117SS 15th July 2025 ort for RonR venstruther & Cle horn Hall Asso tion To whom it may concern, Following on from what I described last year, as a year of consolidation thè best descrlption for the 2024-25 year is one of rebulldlng. Several changes to the commlttee took place at th8 AGM created a comblned desire and will to expand th8 usé and Income. Thls was particularly relevant after the local authorlty announced the cessation of grant funding to communty operated halls. Wa continue to have the support of thé main user groups plus a regular yoga class on a Wednesday evening. At the AGM we announced the creation of a committee post of hall promoter and this place was filled very qulckly. Thelr role will be to promote the hire of the hall for prfvate functions as well as organising fund raising functlons. Just before the AGM we were notlfled of our succ&8sful application to the regional lottery fund and recelved a grant to upgrade the heatir)g and hot water systems. W8 will also install intemet enabled controls for both. The work commences 21 st July. So, in summary the"Hall' is in good heah. We continue on the "journey" and 3re most appreciative of the community support we receive. With klnd regards,
