**What the charity does:** Kirkmuirhill Parish Church operates under the Model Deed Covenant which requires to have in place a Congregational Board who oversea and manage the fabric and financial affairs of the Church.  A Session overseas all spiritual aspects of the Church and comprises the Minister or Interim Moderator and the Elders of the Church.  The Elders are ordained and automatically become members of both the session and the Board, Board members are elected by the congregation and stand for three years.  The Church provides spiritual support to the congregation and the wider community to advance the word of God.  This is done through Sunday Services, prayer meetings and supporting organisations for example The Guild, Men's breakfast, Yzone.  As a Parish Church we support the community through funerals and community events such as an Annual Daffodil Tea.  The Church supports a Charity shop (Second Chance) which funds charity work and projects in the wider community.
