**What the charity does:** The Village Hall is owned by Aberdeenshire Council and leased to Kemnay Village Hall.  The Hall now operates as a SIO (SC047745) however the Council still has not reassigned the lease - but the Trustees of the SCIO are actively considering a Community Asset Transfer, at which time this very inactive charity which has no assets and does no business can be wound up.

**Objectives:** a. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Kemnay and its environs without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved. b. In furtherance therefore, but not otherwise, the Committee shall manage and maintain Kemnay Village Hall in co-operation with Aberdeenshire Council or their successors. c. The Committee shall be non-political and non-sectarian in its approach to managing the Hall.
