Independent Examlner's Report to the Trnstets of Joseph Alexander Tn￿¢
I report on the acc<)unts of the charity for the period ended 30 September 2024 Mthich are set out on pages I
Respective resEKtyDsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the p￿paratIOn of the accounts in accordance with the tenns of
the Charities and Trustees Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the CharitTes Accounts (Scotland)
Regulations 2006 {as arnended). Thc charity tNstees consider that the audit r￿UireMent of Regulation
10(l) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does noi apply. I( is my responsibility lo examine the accounts a5
required under seclion 44(1) (c) of Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my
attention.
Basis of independent e￿miner'S srtaten*nt
My examination is carried out in ￿OrdanCe with Regulation I l of the Charities Accounts (Scotland)
Regulations 20[￿ (as amended). An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept bv the
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It ￿s0 in¢lud¢s ¢onsideration of
any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeks explanations from the trustees conceming any
yjch mattels. The procedures undcrtaken do not provid¢ all evidence that would be required in an
audiL and consequently I do noi expTess an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent examiner's $t*tement
In the course of m) examination, no matter has come to my attention:
which gives me reasonable cause to believe thai in any material re5r￿1 the requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordance with Sertion 44(1) (al of the 2(M)5 Act and
Regulalion 4 of ihe 2(M)6 AccnunLs Regul*ions, and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with
Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations.
have not b¢¢n m¢L or
2. lo which: in my opinion, at*niion should be drawn in orikr to enabk a t￿0￿[ undcrstanding
of the accounts to be rexhed.
