Maxholme Pre School Playgroup is an unincorporated (tharitable
organisation govemed by our constitution a(t)pted 17 May 20(X). Our
purposes and aaministration are set out in our constitution.
Trustee recruitment and appolntment
Our trustees are appointed or reappointed by the members at our AGM
which is held in June each year. In 2024 the AGM was held on 6 June
2024.
Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
The charitsble sxjrposes of the group is to advance education of pre
sctM)ol thildren from the ages 2 until they enrol in school. The emphasis is
on play arKI experience, so that children may tske a constructive place in
the community, followiro the guidance laid dm by the Care Inspectorate
to achieve the Curriculum for Excellence. We also focus on developing
relationships with the thildren's parents to assist the children in their
leaming and play experieno.

Maxholme Pre School Playgroup is an early years ￿ntre providing care
arKI opportunities for leaming through play for children aged 2 to 5 years.
We continue to work in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council
provide the majority of our income.
