**What the charity does:** The Earl Haig Fund Scotland is part of the Royal British Legion group of charities, supporting those in Scotland who have served in the Armed Forces and their dependants. It raises funds and relies on the commitment of individual volunteers, volunteer groups and other ex-service organisations to meet these needs. The Fund supports both former and serving members of the Armed Forces, as well as their families, by addressing issues connected to their service and assisting those facing challenges in transitioning from military to civilian life.

**Objectives:** To relieve suffering, hardship and distress and to promote the relief of need and to promote education among (a) Men or women who have at any time served with any branch of the naval, military and air forces of the Crown and allied nursing services and who are resident in Scotland or were born in Scotland or were domiciled there when they joined the forces of the Crown and@) Wives, widows, husbands, widowers, children and dependants of any of the aforementioned persons who are resident in Scotland or were domiciled there at the time of the death of the member of the forces of the Crown or allied nursing services with whom they were connected by making grants of money loans, guarantees and generally by any other financial methods and generally by aiding, assisting and promoting the benefit of all such persons in any manner which is charitable.
