We deliver door to door support via 31 fully accessible vehicles to people with mobility challenges across Edinburgh and the Lothians. We provided transport for over 100,000 people during the financial year. We offered new services to include school transport for children with complex health needs, Audit Day Centers and Community Bus Services.
Objectives: In particular the purposes of the Company shall be: 5.1 To provide transport for disabled people who are resident within the Lothian Region 5.2 To provide community bus services within areas where none, little or commercial services are not viable for disabled, ill, disadvantaged and the general public to improve quality of life 5.3 In particular Handicabs is established for the public benefit for the following object: To provide transport for disabled, ill and or disadvantaged people and for health and life saving purposes
