**What the charity does:** Relationships Scotland -Family Mediation Highland aims to establish and maintain healthy family relationships following parental separation or family breakdown through the provision of: Mediation service to improve communication, reduce conflict and support parents to agree on practical, workable arrangements for the future, taking into account children’s views, needs and feelings. Children & Young Person's Counselling Service to help children to better understand their situation, cope with their emotions and enable them make positive choices. Contact Centre Services for children (where appropriate) to re-establish and maintain a relationship with the parent they no longer live with.  The central concept of a child contact centre is to offer a safe, friendly, neutral, child centred environment for children to meet with their non-resident parent or family member. Parenting Apart information sessions to help parents with the process of supporting their children through separation.
