Our ¥ounger people. and member50f the Sunday Club attend at this service and have their own Dme in the lounge and the rneetinc room. our Sunday Club has a regular attendance gf approxirnately fifteen young people and four dedicated leaders. Income lor the year amounted to £147,964 compared to £143,267 lor ihe previous ye)r. However, the incr¢ase of £4,697 is less favourable when we analyse the source5 of income. Standin8 Orders received during ihe year have held up well although the h-8ure shown of £69,469 15 down by El,128. As this source 91 Incorne represenis 75% of our regular income il Is essenttal that thi5 source remains reasonably consistent year on year $0 we can plan ahead. Other Qtferings have decreased by £989 to a ioial of £9,066. Alihough Gift Day donanons have increased, one off offerings hève decreased,. a decline which we have seen over the pa51 couple years. To oHset ihese decreases, we recelved legacies arnountin8 to £7,000 and a don3tSon amoundn8 to E I,O(K) from ihe family ol an attendee of the Memory Calè who died recenily. Parish Cenire rentals continue to decline and ihe amount 01 £16,248 shows a decrease of £2,286, Whilsi our hourly hire rate5 are very compertlve, and our laeilitie5 are reBarded as first class there 15 no doubt that Ihe Covid 19 pandemic ha5 decirnaled Small organisatrons which have since disbanded or made le55 Use ol the Centre than pr¢viou51y. Just 35 donattons for 2023 and 2024 are very similar, so are the amounts recovered on these donatlon5. Similar to other charities and organisadons, our exptnses have significantly in¢rea5ed during 2024. Despite incurrin8 only necessary expendirure the total for 2024 has rlsen from £122.967 In 2023 to £135,487 durin8 2024 an Increase of £12,S20 or just over IO%. The Increases were Spread amon several items, the larger bein8 our Givin8 to Grow contribuDon5 - up by £2.629 and unsurpri51n8ly due 10 Ihe ending ol all our cheap contract5 and much higher new ones. C0$15 lor energy have increased by £2,904. Legal expenses totallin8 £2.630 were Incurred to update the ownership of the Old Parish Cenire. While ihe above costs alone add up to over E8,000 lor 2024 the Irend is likely to be repeated during 2025 as the Increases are not lor one off items but lor recurrin8 C05t5. When these and other e05(s are added 108ether. they totBI £135,487 and when this h8ure is deducted from the total income figure of E147,964, we are left with a surplus 01 £12,477 lor 2024.
