**What the charity does:** Pitlochry Festival Theatre is Scotland’s largest building-based producing theatre company. It is a haven for artists, set in breath-taking Highland Perthshire surroundings. The range and scale of work we create here – in the only fully end-to-end production facility of its kind in Scotland, and delivered through an entrepreneurial and effective business model – ensures that we play a unique role in the nation’s theatre sector.

**Objectives:** The purposes for which the Theatre is established ('the Charitable Purpose') are:- 4.1 to promote and encourage the study, practice and knowledge of dramatic art in Scotland and elsewhere including dramatic, literary, musical, educational, scientific, artistic and cultural events and for these purposes to establish, maintain and manage an international Festival Theatre and cultural centre in Pitlochry, Perthshire. and 4.2 to educate members of the public generally about botanic and horticultural diversity and heritage within the grounds and campus of the Festival Theatre.
