and adminislralive supporl. This extends lo th• Amiy. and the Trust supports ceremonial and training activities such
as the Coronation of His Maiesly The King lour Royal Palronl. His Majesty's Royal Guard at Balmoral. visrt5 to Iht
Muyeum and Ca$lle and expedttsons.
No dividend was made lo the Museum Tw5t this year given tha¢ the finanaal position of the Museum Trust did not
warranl Ihis provision.

Incoming resources for the year were £11S.836 12024. £25.9171. Resources expended were £54,Ck89 12024..
£34.9471, leaving a surplus lor the year 01 £53.97812024.' £43.103 surplus) after taking Into accourt the gainlloss
on investments. The loss on investments lolalled £7,789 {2024. £52.133 gain). Total funds al 31 August 2025 were

The Trustees are responsible for the Identifi￿110n and managemenl of risk. Fomial ￿￿ewS of the risk5 faung the
Trust totsk place in 1996, 2004 and 2008 to lake account of the fomalion of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Risk has been rev￿Wed annually thereafter. In the 2008 review, the legal advisers to the Trust ￿MPleted an
assessmènt ol the risks lo wP*ich the Tnjst is exposed. particularly,. business. operational and financial risks and
suggested procedures and regimes lo manage and reduc* the Identffied risks. The risk management process is
regularly reviewed by the Trustees. Act￿$ required M) order lo miligate risks and are di$cLtssed at the TNslees'
meetings and Implemented vthere required.

The Regimental Trust conlinues lo monrtor all activty xross Ihe Regimental famity, ensuring that all elements of the
Regimenlal family meet the stated oty'e¢lives of The Trust.
The Regiment has also ho#led and en8bled several hwh-profile ￿$it$ and events- Viwl lo the Museum by the Dukè
of Edinbufgh as well ay a commemoration event. hosted by His Majesty, The King, al Balmoral Castlè lo
mmemoralè The Late Her Majesty Queen Elr28beth wlK> Sewd as our Colonél-lnthch￿I and Royal Patron for 75
years.

The financial statemenls have been prepared in accordance wlh the Chanty's governing document, the
Charities and Trustee Investment (Scollandl Act 2005, the Charth'es Aetounls IS¢otlandl Regulations 2006
las amended) and 'Accounling and Reporti'ng by Charities. Statement of Recommended Practice applicabl
to charities prepafing their accounts in accordance wrth the Finanaal Reporting Standard applicable In the UK
and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective 1 January 20191". The Chanly is a Publi¢ Benefit Enlrty as
defined by FRS 102.

Cash donations are recognised on receipl. Other donations are recognised once the Charity has been notsfied
of the donation. unless perfomance condilions require deferral of the amount. Income lax recoverable in

1.6 Exp•ndltur•
Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the
Charity to that expenditure, il is probable that a transfer of economic beneffts will be ￿qUired in settlement
and the amount of the obligation can be measured rel￿bly. Expenditure is aC￿Unted lor on an accruals basis
and has been classthed under headings that aggTegale all costs related to the cate90ry. Vthere costs cannot
