I"he Church Is a charita ble unincorporated association, a nd its beliefs,
practices and administration a re set out In Its Constitution dated l March
197 1. The church elders are responsible for the oversight of the activitles
of the church.
Trustees selectlon and appointment
The existing Trustees, all of wl)om are elders are entitled to appoint
addilional Trustees as may be nece55ary.
Risk Assessment
Tlie Trustee5 hiive reviewed the r15ks a550ciated wilh the church and Its
aclivilies. Two key risks have been add ressed by ensuring tlial the
buildings a re adequately insured and that there is a Child Protection
Policy. This latter policy is regularly reviewed, and it Is seen as a live,
operational document,
Objectlves
l. To carry on the activities of a local church in 3 way which is
consistent with the Bible.
2. To benefit the local community through a range of church activities.
3. To advance the Christian Gospel in the town of Ayr.

Activities
Regiilhr church services include meetings for the celebration of the Lord's
Supper (communion), bible teaching and prayer. There is a weekly Family
Service.
There is also a Ladies Meeting, Coffee Morning and Tots for children as
well as a number of other services for adults.
From its funds the church supports missionary and related work in the UK
and overseas.

Financial Review
A Financial Report Is attached for year ended 28 February 2025. This
shows total reserves of £71,037 at the year end, split between General
Fund £57,601 and Special Fund £13,436. The General and special Funds
are unrestricted and are held to meet fulure fluctuations in receipt5 or
payments and to cover unexpected contingencies. The surplus of £4,853
for year ended 28 February 2025 has been added to unrestricted
reserves, leaving the General Fund at £57,601 and the Special Fund at
£13,436.
Reserves Policv
Unrestricted fu nds are maintained at a level that will enable the Church t
fund its on-going activities for a minimum period of three months.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT to the Trustees of Woodpark
Evangelical Church
I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ending 28 February 2025,
which are set out on pages I to 2.
Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examlner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the p￿parat￿)n of the accounts In
Accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act
2005 and the Charities Accounts {5cotland) Regulatsons 2006 (as amended)
("the 2006 Regulations,?. The chanty s Trustees consider that the audit
reqU1￿ment of Regulation 10( I)(d) of the Account Regulations Lloes not apply.
It Is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section
44(1){c) of the 2005 Art and to state whether path'cular matters have come to
my attention.
Basis of Independent examlner's ststement
My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation I l of the charits'es
Accounts (kodand) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the
accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with these records. It also includes consideratson of any unusual items
or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do nol provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express
n audit opinion on the view gwen by the accounts.
Independent examiner's statement
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attenbon which
gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respert the following
Requirements have not been met:
{a) the requirement to keep accounb'ng records in accordance with Section
44(1}(a) of the 2005 Act and Regulatior) 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations, and
Ib) the requirements to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting
records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 20[￿ Accounts Regulabons.
In my opinion there are no additsonal matters to which attentson should be
,fjing of the accounts.
