why the charity was set up
From the constitution:
“The aims of the Association will be:

To promote the value and benefits of Geography in schools, education and the wider world

To provide networking opportunities and support for geographical and environmental educators and learners

To take a leading role in consultative processes relating to Geography and its place in the curriculum of Scottish schools”

who does the charity help
The actions of the charity aim to help those who teach Geography and associated subjects, primarily in Scottish schools. This, in turn, helps pupils across Scotland access higher quality learning and teaching.
