Objectives: 1. To provide social, recreational an educational activities for deaf people living in Dumfries an Galloway regardless of race, religion, creed, disability, sex, sexual orientation or family circumstances. 2. The preservation and protection of the good health of the families, friends and carers of deaf persons by the provision of advice, support and information on deaf issues. 3. To promote any charitable purpose for people who are deaf and suffering from hearing impairment with the object of improving their quality of life. 4. To provide a means by which those who are affected by deafness or hearing impairment in Dumfries and Galloway can share knowledge, represent members, raise problems and promote integrated services.
