The charity of Spittal Village Hall is for the purposes of physical and mental training and recreation and social and intellectual development for the inhabitants of Spittal, Mybster, Toftingall and Achalone as well as the wider community. Regular users of the village hall include a craft group, line dancing and the Women's Institute. Social activities include Bingo, Whist Drives, Games evenings playing table tennis, poool and darts and board games as well as Quiz nights. An annual charity event is held and this financial year, funds were raised by holding an Afternoon Tea to support Breast Cancer Now. Other celebrations include a Harvest BBQ and Haloween Party.
