Recrultment and Appolntment of Trustéés
Members of the Klrk Session are the CharityTrtsstees.The Kirk Session memb8rs are the
eld8rs of the Church and are chosen from those members ot The Church who are
considered to have the appropriate gifts and skills.The Minister. who Is 8 memberof the
Kirk Session. is elected by the Congregation and inducted by Presbytery.
Organisatlonal Structure
The Klrk Session met 3 times duringtheyearand is responsible for spirltual affairs
within the Church.

The Church of Scotland is Trinitarian in doctrine,Refofmed in tradition and Presbyterian
in polity-lt exists to giorlty God and to work for the advancement ot Christ's Kingdom
Ihroughout the world.As a national church.it acknowtedges a distinctive call and duty
to bring then ordinances of religion lo the people in every parish ot Scotland through a
territorial ministry.lt ¢o-oper8tes with other Chuiches in various ecumenical bodies in
Scotland and beyond.
Seniices are held oach Sunday ar i1.30.Our Minister is with us on the third Sunday of
each month when we celebrate cornmunion.one Sunday per month is referred to as
Cafe Church. and takes the form of a more informal meeting, with tea. coffee and
snacks available.This has proven to be appealing and has brought about many
stimulating discussions across a range of topics.The othei Sunday SeN¢es are taken by
volunteers from the Worship Group drawn trom Elders.

with ihe terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act and the Charities
Accounts IScotlarTrdl Regulations 2006.
The Charity Trustees consider that tf* audit requlrement ol Regulation 10111 (dl of the
Accounts Regulatlons does not apply.tt is my responsibilityto examine the accounts as
requlred under section 44(1) (c) ol theAct and to statewhether particular matt8rs have
come to my attention.
Basis ol Independent Examiner's Statement
An 8XamIna￿On is carried out in accordance wlth Regulation11 of the Charltle3
Accounts {ScoilandJ Regulations 2006.An examinatlon includes a review of the
accountlng records kept by the Charrty and a comparison ol the accounts presented
with those records.lt also includes consideralion of any unusual items or dlsGlosures In
the accounts. and seeks explanations from the Trustees concerning such m8tt8rs.
