During the year Mrs Mary Miller resigned as a member of ihe Kirk Session and was warnily thanked for all her
service.
Organisational Structure
The Kirk Session. which usually meets fivc limes a year. is responsible for ihe spiritual life of thc church as well
as other matters such as mission, properry maintenance and community links. The parish is also well represented
ai mcctings of ihe Loihian and Borders Presbyiery.

Other activities during the year have included Guild meeiings. local pilgrimages, and suppori evenings for
Ukrainian families and th¢ir hosts. Our minist¢r continu¢s to scrY¢ as chaplain to th¢ thr¢¢ primary schools in
the pati.%h and has strcngthened links Wlth Dunbar Grammar School. A pastoral support group ha% al￿0 been
estdbli5hed. We trialled d "Village Vestry- in The Mdrt at Eas't Lintvn but there wa5 insutYiLient interest to
justify thc costs for this.
We value our intemationAI Pdrtnetships, particularly w.ith our hvinned cong¥regation in Naxdlbdti, northern India.
Regular messages are exLhanged and we hope to faLilitaie further N"isi(s 10 and from Indi& 11-'e have also tried
to nurturc our conncction with First Prcsbytcrian Church in HolL Michigan, USA.
The Resources Committee continues to support ihe Kirk Session in overseeing financial and property matters.
We finally completed the sale5 of both thc Whittingchatne and Whitekirk buildings during the year. The
