Summary of the maln achlevements of l-Annualty the Trust advertises in the local paper, The Invemess Courier,
the charlty durlng the financial period
and on Facebook for 8ppliab.ons for financial assistance. All applications
have to be supported by a copy of the applic8nVs accounts and a
statement setting out how the ￿ndS would be used and what would be
achieved. Suctsssful aDpli¢snts are informed that each application is
considered on its merits and no guafftntee is given of future funding. In the
year lo 31 December 2024, grants of £15,74512023- £13,3151 have been
made.
Financial review
Brief statement of the charty's policy
on reserves
In carying out the purposes of the Trust the trustees shall have the widesl
powers and discretion and they may rnanage the investment of the trust
fund as if they were tne beneficial owners thereof. Without prejudice they
may invest in bank and building society savings accounts, goverllrnent
secuth.es and company shares. Further, they shall have the widest
discretion in the use and application of the trust fund. In particular they
may make outright grar.ls of finance, loans or investments in the
furtherance of the purEx)ses of the Trust. They may delegate lo such
persons as they think aTe suitably qualified any matter relating to the
routine wot* of the Trust and they may appoint one of their number of
suitably qualified to act as a solicitor or accountant lo the Trust on the
basis ol payment of appropriate professional remuneration. The Trustee5
instwct Investnent Managers lo review and make recommendations for ,
improvement of ihe Trust portfolio.
