The object of the Brigade and the 278th Glasgow Company is the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness. The aims of the movement are promoted by Christian teaching and programmes of activities such as team building skills, sport, physical activity, community service, drill, arts & crafts and bible learning.
Objectives: The Object of the Brigade shall be the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys, and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect, and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness
