Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of education','the advancement of health','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

We exist to ensure that no one in the Falkirk District faces mental health challenges alone. We provide free, confidential, person-centred mental health and wellbeing support to people of all ages, offering early intervention, crisis support, and recovery-focused services at the point they are needed most. We do this through a wide range of accessible community-based services, including counselling, distress brief intervention, support for young people and families, carers support, bereavement by suicide services, groupwork, social prescribing, and social connection activities. Individuals can self-refer through our bespoke online system and are offered timely assessment and flexible appointments, including evenings and remote options. Our qualified staff and volunteers work collaboratively to deliver compassionate, evidence-based support, reduce stigma, and build resilience across our community. We attempt to bridge gaps in statutory provision and working closely with partners.

Objectives: a) support individuals to recover from mental ill health by acknowledging that recovery is a unique voyage of self discovery and personal growth b) prevent deterioration in mental wellbeing and c) provide support, education, training and raise awareness relating to mental health to carers and across the local community.
