We are active in the local community by hosting various events throughout the year including muck sales, quiz nights and a Soup & Sweet evening. We also hold various stalls at events to advertise rural life and promote membership of young farmers. During the summer and winter syllabus we also hold various club meetings to interest all our members, including stock judging, mock auctions, valuations and business visits along with sports nights and new members meetings. These events are kindly hosted by local farmers and businesses and we warmly welcome current and new members to all out events. Members are encouraged to participate in district, regional and national events as well as local none sayfc events.
Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people'
Objectives: To advance the education and training of young people at large in rural issues, agriculture, homecrafts and related subject To advance the development of active citizens through development of individuals involvement within their local community and leadership of their Young Farmer Group. In the interests of social welfare of young people in rural Scotland provide and promote the provision of activities for recreation and other leisure time occupations which will improve their conditions of life and will assist in the development of their spiritual and mental capacities and self reliance and individual responsibility.
