To provide advocacy services to Adults with Mental Health or Addiction issues, ensuring their voices are heard. providing face-to-face advocacy services throughout West Lothian to enable people to have influence over decisions affecting their life, meet their needs and protect their rights and interests. The service will deliver an independent service that speaks up for individuals and assists those with mental health or addiction issues to have a stronger voice with as much control as possible over their own lives through - one-to-one advocacy, supporting individuals to represent their own interests or representing views if person is unable to do this themselves - non-instructed advocacy, supporting individuals who need an independent advocate but cannot express their views due to complex communication needs, long-term illness, or disability - collective advocacy, providing collective opportunities to patients in IPCU and W17 in St John's Hospital and in community.

Objectives: The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are to advance human rights, and to advance education and relief of need among vulnerable people in West Lothian and its environs, and particularly people who experience mental disorder, mental health issues, dementia, personality disorders, substance addiction or those people defined under mental health legislation, by promoting independent (that is, independent from all statutory, official and voluntary providers of services to the organisation’s client group), individual and collective advocacy services and advancing the education of the public about issues surrounding advocacy, by:
