All the Historical Society staff are are volunteers. The Museum displays a range of exhibits (both temporary and Permanent) which bring to life social life the social history of Dunlop, Fenwick, Kilmaurs and Stewarton. Local history is a powerful tool in the construction of identity. Written or spoken stories make the connection for people to their chosen area and the ability to be able to view images of previous generations is invaluable to cement this connection.
