Objectives: The Trust is established for such purposes in the interests of the Island of Yell, Shetland Islands or the inhabitants of Yell as the Trustees in their sole discretion think fit provided always that any such purpose is charitable in law and in particular the Trustees shall seek to secure in such way as is charitable in law the establishment, maintenance and management of a public Pier at Burravoe, Yell and an access road thereto for the benefit of the community and with a view to improving the means of communication with the Island of Yell and to facilitate the development of the fishing industry and other associated industries for the benefit of the community.
