1. Constitution and Prfn¢lpal A¢llvlt1￿ of the Unlt8d Free Church of Scotland
The United Free Church of Scotland, wrth all the Churches of the Refomiation, acknowledges as tts
Supreme Standard, the Word of God Contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.
The Church holds as its Subordinate Standard the Westminster Confession of Faith", by its Declaratory

faith,. and it daims the right as duty may require, to interpret, add to, modrfy, or change her subordinate
standards, under the promised guidance of the Holy Spirit, and with a direct responsibility to her Lord.
The Church approves the emphasis of the Declaratory Acts on the love of God for all mankind, the free
offer of salvation to all, the obligation of the Universal Church to make known the Gospel throughout the
worfd, and the renunciation of coercion, perse¢ution and intolerance in matters of religion.
Accordingly this Church accepts the obligation to witness to the truth of the Gospel and to serve men in

4. Actlvltles and Achievemonts
Highlights of th8 year tndude the two Commuth Fun Days that were hekl in March, and September,
when our grounds, halls and Sanctuary were filled wrth a fantastic array of fun attractions for members
of our lorAI community to enjoy. On each occasion, we took the opportunity to tell people about the
love of Christ. Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions we had to cancel our planned
Christmas Fun Day.
During the year, we vffi blessed to see our alliance Tmth the HL)ng Kong Christian Church Glasw
(whose members meet for worship in our Halls on a Sunday moming) continue to grow. and we were
delighted when both Congregations were able to Sha￿ a joint bi-lingual servi￿ in August, which
included the sacfament of Communion. We were also blessed to have a Ukrainian Church worshiping
in our Sanctuary for 6 months of the year.
A regular programme of sociavfund raising events continues to b8 held. As as raising a total of
£16,361 these everrts provided many opportunittes to open the Church's doors to the local Community,
and opportunities to tell Feople more about our faith & purpose at Croftfoot UF. 610A of our fund raising
Income related to extemal hall th, which reflects our Commitment to providing a resource for our local
communty. Over the year 12 different communty organisations used our premisès and we were also
used as a polling station.
As a Congregation, are committed to helping those families in our community who are finding life
challenging, and we have made monthly distributions of food and other items to a number of such
families. The local community was also served by the use of our premises by various children's activty
groups. and by a Ioc21 Diabetes Group and by an Alcoholics Anonymous Group.
On a wider basis, as well as financial donations to a number of charities, the Congregation has also
supported the Blylhswood Trust Shoebox apK*al, and sent Christmas gifts to The Preshal Trust aThJ
The Lodging House Mission in Glasgow.
Fundraising to upgrade the Sanctuary continues, with a view to raising sufficient funds to install
insulation. During the year, repairs to the roof were completed to address rain ingress.
RoLrtinely, the Congregation meets y￿eklY for services of worship. Fomial Communion services are
h8ld four times a year. The Minister and elders have continued to provide pastoral care, especially to
the sick and housebound. We held weekly Prayer Sessions and our Bible Study Group has undertaken
