The charity is set up to manage investments so as to provide sufficient investment income to fund bursaries to assist pupils attending Gordonstoun Schools Ltd. The PPGF trustees meet several times per year and are responsible for both the strategic direction and policy of the charity and agree on bursary funds to be made available to Gordonstoun Schools on an annual basis.
Objectives: The advancement of education by raising funds for Gordonstoun Schools Limited for application in the United Kingdom and abroad. Such funds shall be used for, but are not limited to, the provision of all such forms of financial assistance as may be required to cover tuition fees in whole or in part, grants, scholarships, bursaries or otherwise, as well as all types of equipment including electronic and sporting equipment and kit, educational aids, teaching materials, books and any other necessary objects, educational trips and excursions, facilitating any training or teaching needs and funding any ongoing maintenance, improvement, development and building costs for the school and grounds.
