Structure? governance and management Type of governing document The church is congregational in policy and its purposes and administration are sel out in the constitution. Trustee recruitment and appointment No changes to trustees from the previous year. Achievements and performance Over the year in question COntinUed Zoom Sunday worship services and prayer times io replace in-person meetings. As restrictions lifted a number of in person services were held including joint services with Kelso Old and Sprouston parish. All of the above has led to a sustained church witness and in person/zoom meetings of around 30 people. Financial review Statement of the charity's policy on reserves Continued restrictions due to Covid have slowed growth in giving. Reserves are held for the support of a minister on full-time stipend for until 2023 and also to enable the work of the church to grow during this period. However, it is anticipated additional receipts after Covid restrictions will also contribute to cost of ministry supported by new members |Future plans: Over the coming year as lockdown restrictions allow, we are looking for the the church to grow to about 30 members from people who live in the area and currently worshipping with us on Zoom. This will also enable us to expand our church work. Below is a non-exhaustive list of our hopes for the coming financial period: Finding a pemianent place of worship. Development of a ministry amongst the shopkeepers of Kelso town centre and surrounding areas.
Discipleship and prayer events. Further church drive-ins and evangelistic outreach. Support of some families in poverty. Recruitment of further trustees. Restructuring as a SCIO Additional information During this period it has not been possible to hold an AGM due to the restrictions put in place as the Covid 19 pandemic took hold.
