To ensure a good quality of life for older people and all carers health, financial and social supports., being integrated, active, connected and involved in their community. The Dixon Community promotes early intervention, and preventative supports through the delivery of 2 main projects: Multicultural Day Opportunities. building based person centered support for older people with low to moderate support needs, providing therapeutic and social activities to reduce isolation, loneliness and promote good health/wellbeing. South Carers Centre: commissioned by Glasgow City Council to deliver person centred support to all carers implementing the objectives of the Carers Scotland Act 2016. Supports focus on identifying carers early in their caring journey, supportive planning process reflecting carers changing needs using a person centered and outcome focused approach.

Objectives: The Association is established solely for charitable purposes within the City of Glasgow and in particular to promote the welfare and advance the education of the disabled and retired. In furtherance thereof: - (i) The provision of facilities for recreational, educational and leisure time pursuits at the Dixon Halls Glasgow and/or at such other place or places as may be decided upon. (ii) Provision shall be made in the Dixon Halls or at such other place or places that may be decided upon for physical and mental welfare of disabled and/or retired. (iii) To provide in so far as possible, services activities and care in the Community which may benefit the disabled and or retired people who attend or receive the services of the Association. (iv) To provide assistance to and co-operation with any other body or organisation, voluntary or otherwise having similar or complementary purpose.
