Gairloch & District Heritage Company was set up to preserve and make available to as many people as possible the cultural, natural and historical heritage of the Parish of Gairloch. This is achieved by the operation of the Gairloch Museum which is open to the public as many days a year as is feasible. Events are also organised to enable access to this heritage both in person and online. The heritage resources of the museum are used to help those in the community with challenges to better live with them.
Objectives: The Purpose of the Company, as a Registered Charity, will be to promote and encourage interest in, and care for, the history, culture, beauty and character of the Parish of Gairloch, for the benefit of all who wish to be engaged in such advancement of its heritage, be they locally resident, visiting the area in person or in contact through any form of communication from afar.
