The Kirk Session also has resp0115ibility lor ensuring that the (hurch and Manse are fit lor purpose and
present no danger lo the he6lth and safety of offi￿ bearers, worshippers ènd casual VI￿tOrs. The Kirk
seS￿on has I"esponsibillly for the obseNation of Safeguarding requireinents and a Safeguarding,,
Coordinator is in place for the cungregation to ensure that volunteer5 are cleared to work with children
and vulnerabli: adults. A Congregational Safeguarding Panel is in place to deal with any Issue5 whith
may aflSe frorn tinie to time.

The aiiirch ol Scotland is Triniiarian in doctrlne, Reformed in tradition and Presbyterian in ￿lIty. It
ex15ts to glorify Gcxl and to work foi the advancement ol Clirist'5 Kingdom thro(Jghout the world. As a
National Church, it acknowledgLS a distii)ctive ￿11 and duty to bring the Ordinances of religion to th

singing group, a well-used Fcrtyj Bank and the Alpha Course and similar DisuNeship courses cr>ntinu4

Its reputalion a5'the cuiiiilry Churcli In Stomoway, the Iligh Churdi is sustaining and gmwing ils tsadlc
offerin<i. Gaelic Se￿Ice5 are strearned online to an eager global audlence and discusgons are isnilerway
wlth the Lc£al Authority'5 Gaelic Medium Education Servi￿ to provide cOnte[n￿rary w)rship in thelic
foi the growing nUrn￿r of young people going through Gaellc M£%lium Education in Lewis.
