To relieve the needs of people in North Edinburgh ('the Operating Area') who are in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or who are otherwise vulnerable, to advance education, to prevent or relieve poverty ofsuch people and to advance community development by:-(i) promoting the welfare and well-being of such people.(ii) relieving unemployment and promoting the employment of suchpeople.(iii) identifying the perceived needs and concerns of such people and thebest means of addressing such concerns.(iv) improving communications between users and providers of servicesand in between groups, individuals and organisers working with suchpeople.(v) providing and/or assisting in the provision of a not-for-profitcommunity transport service.(vi) providing and /or assisting in the provision of a not-for-profit gardeningand home decorating service.(vii) providing and/or assisting in the provision of day care and counsellingservices.(viii) providing and/or assisting
Beneficiaries: 'Older People','People with disabilities or health problems'
Objectives: 1) To relieve the needs of people in North Edinburgh ('the Operating Area') who are in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or who are otherwise vulnerable, to advance education, to prevent or relieve poverty of such people and to advance community development by:- (i) promoting the welfare and well-being of such people.
