All of the group's trustees afe appointed or reappointed at our annual 8eneral meeiin& which is held in Sèptember of each year. Obiectlves and acti¥itiè5 Our purposes. as recorded in our constitution, are to a¢fvance the education of pre-school children, so that they may take a £on5trurtive place in thè communily, and in Ihè furtheran of thi5 alm to provide safe and satisfylng group play thrtsugh the medium of the Gaèlic lan8Ua8e. Recruitment of Trustees The boaid members are generally drawn from parents ol children attending the playgroup. New board members are appointed by the existing board rnembeT5 after di5cussion5 at rneeting5. Achievement5 and perfofrnance The charity is run by volunteer parents. Any fundrain815 split between Croileagan and the ¢harlly Mathan Beag ISC0339531. Thè reason for havin8 separate charilies for Crollea8art and Mathan Bea8. 15 SO that we can access different grant5 for both 6lOUPS. Funding is received for up 19 30 hour5 per week from the HIEhland Countil. Children who altend Crollea8an can attend additional afternoon sessions and any exces5 hours lover 301 are pald for by Ihe Pafènts. and banked io the Wrap account. Mathan Beag is a playgroup for 2 year olds and parent5 pay lees lor each day Ihe child attends. Activitie5 In Year.. l. The children enjoyed lots of outdoof play and actfvities. 2. There have been weekty musi¢ sessions with the children. 3. Annual Sports day 4. Trip to Dalmore Farm 5 Christmas crafts and partv. 6. Easter eg8 hunt Future.. Due to the loss ol both our manager and early years practitioner to other employmeni. we were left without a registered office. De5W'te extensive eflort5 lo iecruit a new rnanager, the Care Commission were notilied of our position in early 2023. After a lengthy piocess. Ihe Highland Council have a8reèd to take over the management of the nursey from Au8U5t 2023. FSnanc5al review Tho trustees did not receive èny remuneraiion or &xpenses durilvd ihe year. There wa5 a deficit of £12,5291surplus of £27,427 in prior yearl for the year. There were unrestricted funds of E107.923ai the year end1£120,452 In prior year).
