Under Scheme for the Variation of the Trust Purposes of the Endowment Trust the following are entitled to one-quarter of the Income: The Church of Scotland Trust, The Scottish Solicitor's Benevolent Fund, The Royal Medical Benevolent Fund & The Scottish Artist's Benevolent Association

Beneficiaries: 'Other defined groups'

Objectives: The Trustees shall hold the Trust Estate for the purpose of applying the annual income thereof net of all taxation, charges, costs and expenses. (a) one eighth part shall be distributed to the Trustees of The Cintra Bequest to be held and applied to assist beneficiaries ordained or commissioned in the Ministry in Scotland for at least two years before application together with their spouses, partners and dependants to defray the cost of obtaining rest or recuperation in Scotland. (b) one eighth part shall be distributed to the Trustees of The Church of Scotland Ministry Benevolent Fund to be held and applied to assist beneficiaries who are (1) ordained or commissioned in the Ministry in Scotland for at least two years before application or (2) now retired and have been ordained or commissioned for the ministry in Scotland and in either case together with their spouses partners and dependants to defray the cost of obtaining rest or recuperation in Scotland. (c) one quarter part shall be distributed to the Trustees of The Royal Medical Benevolent Fund to be held and applied to assist beneficiaries who have been in practice in Scotland for at least two years before application together with their spouses, partners and dependants to defray the cost of obtaining rest or recuperation in Scotland. (d) one quarter part shall be distributed to the Trustees of The Scottish Artists ' Benevolent Association to be held and applied to assist beneficiaries who have been in practice in Scotland for at least two years before application together with their spouses, partners and dependants to defray the cost of obtaining rest or recuperation in Scotland.
