**Objectives:** The objects of the Association will be. a.	To create, encourage, foster and maintain the interest of the public in the wellbeing of patients and staff in Castle Douglas Hospital. b.	To assist by all means including gifts in kind and money, in the welfare of patients and staff in Castle Douglas Hospital. c.	To receive gifts of all kinds, including donations, legacies and endowments and to administer these for the general purpose of the League, or for any specific purpose in accordance with the wishes expressed by the donor, where the purpose stated is achievable and agreeable to the Hospital and {if necessary) the Health Board. d.	To provide a link between the Hospital and the Community and District it serves.
