In October the congregatiotts of the six churches vod for the B&sis of unlo B&sis ofTeam Ministy and acceptance of the two miDist¢rs. On¢ church votrd to opt OUL which means the union will now consist of five church4 namely, Blaithill Dundyvao Calder. New St Andrew'4 Old Monkland and Townhead. There is a regular attendance of 50 memEtts. enjoying a traditional fOrnt of worship. Th¢ service l&sts just under an hour with worship. and aIse from CH4 hyllu1 and sometimes hymns from mI10n Praise and Songs of G'S People. The organist tnclth ltiOnal ]Cal it¢ms and th¢ choir sang anthems on a regular basi& We follow the Christian year with wial servitts for different f¢stiva]s som¢ of these servirxs are attended by the Youth Orgaftisations. The Youth Organisations are Guides and Boys Brigth with &lult organisations Cknir and Guild. On a regular basis the org8nimti08 are visited by Elders WIK) reN)rt back to Kirk Session. During the year we donated fuThJs to CHAS and Gl&8gow Childr¢n's Hospital Charity. The class meets on a Wethiesday evening from 7.30- 9 pm 8NI are always looking to w¢lcom¢ new members. Joy Wrigkt 60+ Lunch Club The club continues w provide f(KNI and felk)wship with regular attendees of 34. Tr tegm work well. enjoying the preatiOnS for the different themes on the first Wednethy of tI4 ¢KWt January. also supplied. Tables are set with theme for the month. Members are wel¢4)m¢d at th¢ front door. W¢ end the year with a lovely Chrislm&8 meal provid1 by cat¢rers. Bowli (h)4arting and a party were th¢ order for all section& while the Company Section took part in the Battalion S¢riptur¢ Knowledge COmlition. Febnwy. tk juniors took pth in the 5-a-side tournament. For the first time in th¢ history of the Company we won the comwition after a tight final, winning on naIti. The Juniors came second in Mind & creIvIty Comps, The COMpY section the Vaulting Comp. corning seco1 for the second year in a row.

We had 32 Juniors with 21 of those promot&1 to the comlY Section and 12 coMnY Sertion Boys. but sY had to say goodbye to our two oldest Boys who left ttcause of age. August saw Company section Camp. Our numbers as a wjp are the hig18¢ in 4)ur history with 64 tKJyS fA)ming througb those doors every week. almost 50 of those Boys have Perfert Attendance which highlights the great WO and fill) that's hapFtrring here. The JS & CS tsok part in their respedive Top Team comp4 Company section winning the1. We had a Battalion parade at the end of Octt)Irr. The CS took in the PT Comp (cartwheel4 hMIspringS etc) and came second AGAN. six years in a row. This inclth opening our weekly Guid¢ meeting in the tslilional way by raising the Guide flag followed by sitting arouthl a table &8 a lt sharlng our news of th¢ week whil¢ ¢ating hthY snacks. prior to going into GuAd¢ patrols to work on t&8ks. The Guid¢s, in their own tim¢, worked on their Promise prograMn and Guide b8¢ awards which include skills buildffls and int¢T¢St badges. At th¢ end of ¢ach meeting we lake th¢ Guide tkng down in the trJitional manner. The guides enjoyed particl1n8 in our Church Thinki Day setvice. suprted by our Boys Brigade Company. It was during this service that vernl of our guides wert present¢d with skills build¢r badg¢s. Each week the Guides proSed with their badges which le&1 ¢0 them gaining the 'Gold Award,. The Guide Gold Award gives guide the oNty to put evtyhin8 thal h&8 b¢en 1¢arnl througb the Guide programme into ptice and take part in a new outdcM)r xtivity. Guides must wDpl¢t¢ all six Theme Awards and then complete the final challeng¢. The Guides embrxed the warni evenings of the spring aThl SUM by meaing in the Church's en¢los¢d back garden %theTeby interxtive games of the large w(xth Jenga and tk IKge snakes and ladders were played. To draw our 202425 session to a cto in June. 2025. several of our Guid¢s w¢r¢ pr¢s¢nt¢d with skills builder badges in the Church's back garden. One Guide was award¢d the B¢s¢ Gui(k award for s¢ssion 20245 &$ she had displayed excerniond skills a1 qualities which she h&1 ¢onsist¢ntly d¢liV¢1 throughout each month of the Guide session. Our ¢urrenL and new Guides wkn joined our unit in Au8USt 2025, resumed nxeting on a Thursday in our large Church Hall b¢tweeo 6.30pm and 8pm. Blairhill Dundyvan Parish Church Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustses of Blairhill Dundyvan Parlsh Church I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2025 which are set out on pages 9 to 14. Respective responslbiliti•s of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1)(d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility lo examine the accounts as required under section 44(1)(c) of the Act and to slate whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examinerfs statement An examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examinats'on includes a review of the accounb'ng records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeks explanations from the trustees conceming any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
