**What the charity does:** We provide recreational facilities for inhabitants of our parish. This includes different groups such as a pottery club, a choir club, table tennis, and other activities.

**Objectives:** The objects of the Association shall be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Glencaim parish and its environs (being the same as the area served by Glencairn Community Council which covers the communities of Moniaive, Kirkland and Wallaceton) without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise, the Association shall seek to manage, maintain and operate the building known as Glencairn Memorial Institute.
