**What the charity does:** Forthgiving is a local philanthropic trust offering financial support to people in crisis throughout the Forth Valley Area. We work with statutory organisations and voluntary sector organisations to identify individuals who are experiencing a crisis of some kind. We can provide financial support directly to individuals in crisis in a way that preserves their dignity and lets them know that we care.

**Objectives:** 4.	The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1	 to address the welfare and relieve the needs of individuals, families and communities in necessitous circumstances in the Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire districts of Central Scotland (“the said districts”) by promoting and advancing their social and educational needs. and 4.2	to advance the education and welfare of the inhabitants of the said districts by providing discretionary awards, grants, bursaries and/or scholarships therefor. and 4.3	to advance and promote the education of the general public, and in particular the inhabitants of the said districts, in the heritage, history and culture of the said districts, including the activities of the former Incorporated Glasgow, Stirlingshire &amp; Sons of the Rock Society
