Durllig 2021 (JIVING I"0 GROW contmu¢d to be an oppomnir) forthe congregation to
Lylebrate ￿rIstIan giving. Over the p&< )'ear we have LX)ntinu¢d io bui]d on the foundations laid
to enable our congregation to be more involved in our communitN' and more aaii"e in the leadit)8
of worship. We re¢o8nt* the need in the ThLErch of kntland for kadffthip io be more lay-
orientsted and have continued to move in this direaion bv empowering members 8nd others
In March 2012 Cro&shill Paristh thurch and St Marg8rds Parth ￿Urth. entered into a linkx8e.
The tmpaet of this linkage was that the two congregarions thare the same charge bui retstn their
iDdependentr in both a spiritsal and fmancial waj. Both CODgregations r¢tyiu theRr individu2]

In July of 2019 our mini&er moved to anoth¢r charge. ￿aVIn0 the church in vacancv. The

The Church of Scotland has instswcted all Presbyteries to conduct 4 review of the strncture and
requir¢m¢nts of I￿al communitte& This has been on80ing for some tine and Crosshill has fully
¢n8ag¢d with the prorths and submittd rekvant infornation as and wthtn r¢quir¢d. Final
propo*ls hav¢ b¢¢n submitted to and agreed by Pre*•yt¢ry. Th¢ agreed plan involves mUGh
restructuring of Presbytery and includes a prop>￿ union bdween Cros41ill a))d Dalziel
Anérew& The Sessions of both thurchc5 have for]ned a c105c bond and ar¢ worktng together to
draw up a btsis of union which i8 acceptable to both Congregations and ￿ Pre*•ytery. In the
meanb"m< the two Church￿ LY)ntinue to thare joini wvices and yjcial events all of whi¢h have
been well attnded and very ￿C¢c&$fUl. The intention Isto contmue to build on the thared

Mission.
We started 2024 with a me4nberthip of188 and ended it with a membership of 173.
Recent years have been challen8iti8 for the W￿er aturch and S￿le(V 85 a whok. 2024 prov￿ to
b¢ a ￿ecesSfUl year for CTOSShill mainy due to inve>Jnent income which created a surplus and
without which Crothill would have incurred defi¢its in the p&4 two A large proportion of
the congregation continue to wpport the Thurch and lwciated Organi￿rIonS fmanci811y.
The princTpal wurce of income is donations of £36.693 (2023 £37.619). tsx recovered on gift aid
donalion5 of £1 0.561 (2023 £10.450). and income from other ￿]vilIeS £7.003 (?023 £6.498).
