We provide short-term counselling to help individuals, couples and families improve their relationships and emotional wellbeing. It aims to build strong, resilient relationships and reduce inequality for marginalised and vulnerable people by offering accessible, human-rights-based support.? Our service delivers typically 8–10 sessions of structured, time-limited counselling, with longer support or onward referral where issues are more complex. It does this through a qualified team offering relationship, family/partner and individual counselling, psychosexual therapy, all our counsellors are trauma-informed, using both in-person and remote methods. The organisation also contributes its counselling expertise to outreach, training, education, research and policy work at local and national level.

Objectives: The objects for which the Service is established are to provide, develop and co-ordinate a confidential counselling service in Glasgow and West of Scotland for those in marriage or other intimate personal relationships by:- (a) Helping people by non-judgemental counselling and education to prepare for, achieve and sustain successful personal relationships and to support them if their relationships break down. (b) Co-operating with other organisations and agencies concerned with personal relationships. (c) Providing suitable training for and development of those engaged in the work of the Service to ensure appropriate standards of expertise with a view to pursuing the objects of the Service. (d) Developing and sustaining local centres in Glasgow and the surrounding area where the above objects are implemented.
