**What the charity does:** We are the Third Sector Interface in Midlothian. We support local third sector organisations on volunteering, capacity building and social enterprise. We also give them a voice in community planning. We also provide a range of services to volunteers, and deliver a number of volunteer-supported services.

**Objectives:** To promote within Midlothian and elsewhere all or any activities for the benefit of the community which may be deemed by law to be charitable and in particular (but without prejudice to the foregoing generality) to promote, further encourage and assist the work of third sector organisations and statutory authorities to promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the objects and for that purpose to bring together representatives of such third sector organisations and statutory authorities and specifically: 5.1 the advancement of education. 5.2 the advancement of health. 5.3 the prevention or relief of poverty. 5.4 the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. 5.5 the advancement of environmental protection or improvement. 5.6 the advancement of citizenship, and community development. 5.7 any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
