As mentioned 1851 year, both government and health authorities have at last athiowledged that S￿la]
isolation ha5 a deleterious ¢ff¢¢l on individuals, both physically ond mentslly, especially those with
disability dnd the elderly. This h88 Stimulated the provision of grants to assist voluntary organisations whose
services are aimed at reducin8 socia] isolation and helping vulnerable people to improve their mental health
and wellbein8 by reducing their loneliness, offering emotional Sllp￿rt and providing aclivili¢s lo k¢ep them
