With two very old buildinLFs to maintatn, the Finance Team is, as always. very grateful for this important resource. Moreovcr, in the dilTiculi financial times we are experienLing. the Faith Hope and Charity shop is playing a role in our commitment to provide a Warm Hub within our community. Commuuity and Oulreach The Community & Outreach team organised a successful Community Coffee Morning, a welcome return to nonrAaIity, which was well atl¢nded and enjoyed by all who canie along. With Covid iestrictlons rclaxed, our annual Church Fae relumed this year and was also very well attended. The Christmas Singalong kicked ofT our Church's C.hrislmas activities and after a break of thi'ee years due to the pandemic. il proved to be as enjoyablc as ever. Cliaplairtcy Chaplaincy has continued with our local primary and secondary schools and our local football team and this conlact alon&i with our Minister's monthly newsletters has kept God's w'ord at the heart of our Congyr¢gJalion. Children and.familie,s worker Our new children and families worker - who we will share with Burntisland and and Erskinc churches - has now arrived and we look forward to the rewards liis role will briiig. Worsliip Togetlier Team Some five to six years ago il was agreed tlial the Minister might benefit from 8omc additional congregational support around tlie structure of worship. This would allow mcmbers to b¢ more directly involved in lh¢ ongoing spiritual development of our Church family while giving ihe Minister a little more flexibility in the use of his limited time and ¢nergies. Sin¢c tlien there hav¢ been even greater pressures on minslering to God's flock with new societal and pastoral chall¢nges to be reflected within worship - so many additional demands on the Minister. 'rhc Worship Together Team currently numbcrs nine people and meet about three times a year to support Ihe Mini8teVs planned services going fonvard and offer assistance and comment as appropriate. We have on a number of occasions and at various limes been acliv¢ly involved in dclivcring God's Word through participalkng in whole or in part in ¢hurcl) services. Congrcgalional rLsponse is always positlvc and encourdgin&J with al team members have benefitted greatly through their involvement. For many of us. we are well oulwith our conifort zone but Iru.%i the Lord'8 good guidance lo see us through. We hope and pray thal our involvement has been supportive of our Minister'5 aspirations for growth and renewal within our Churcli and ask that more ofour Christian friends might like to joÉn us in support. Minisler's 25 Years ofservice We had the privilegFe of celebrating our Minisl¢r's 25 years with us. Restrictions had lifted enoug?h to allow a full service of thanksgiving and appreciatioii to lake place. Pag¢ 4

This allows repair and mainlenance costs to be smoothed out over lime rather than being hit with major expendilure in any particular year. In addition. a study is ongoing to look ai current church buildings and detemiinc our future building requirements and disposal/refurbishment options. The church finances are hcai'ily dependent on incumc from ihe church shop and ihe church halls. The Kirk SLssion i aware of the n¢ed io ensure these building5 continue lo provide an attractive eni'ironinent to encourage iheir use and maintain income level.
