We provide facilities, services and activities that promote community wellbeing, reduce social isolation, preserve local heritage and encourage civic participation. We run and support a range of community resources including the Alness and District Times community newspaper, community transport services through our minibus and community truck, meeting and civic spaces for local groups and events, and the Alness Heritage Centre and museum. Through these services we help residents stay connected, access support, celebrate local history and culture, and take part in community life. Our work is delivered by volunteers, community representatives and local partnerships, ensuring that our activities respond directly to local needs and benefit people of all ages across the area.
