**What the charity does:** to provide information, education and diversionary activities for those living with substance misuse.  We also provide support and counselling in a one to one basis as well as group sessions.   We work with both young people and adults as well as individuals and families.   We provide support and deliver sessions in either our own premise or in any partners organizations'.   We have a flexible approach and can easily adapt the service to fulfil the needs of the client.

**Objectives:** KADAS is to provide a comprehensive and co-ordinated community service designed to meet the special needs of those affected by alcohol and drug related problems and to promote the development of facilities as required as an integral part of such a service. and to increase public knowledge of the extent of alcohol and drug abuse, the damaging effects on the individual, the family, society and the economy, and to initiate and support action to combat the problems. and to promote services and facilities, information, education, training and research in regard to the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of alcohol and drug related problems, without advocating or specifying any particular method of treatment.
