Committee
There is a parent run committee for the PreSchool, and all members are voluntary. The committee is voted in at the AGM by everyone who wishes to attend.

Annual Committee Review
Our pre-school has had another excellent year providing a safe, fun, nurturing environment for local children. Our staff have years of experience and are extremely dedicated.
The new 1140 hours are well embedded and we are working well with the Primary School on the same site to provide lunches for the children. We are also working with the school to provide the children with a thorough transition process to ensure they are ready for the move to Primary School. This has been quite restricted for the last few years due to the Covid Pandemic and it is great to see the children have the time to get used to their new surroundings.
We are based in a small rural village and therefore we are restricted in numbers of children to those in the local area which can vary year to year. We are pleased that our numbers are increasing again as the difference in having one or two children more makes a huge difference in our ability to meet our costs.
Our nursery continues to strive and be an important part of our community and we hope this continues for many years to come.
Treasurer's Report
The pre-school continues to be financially viable and we are constantly working with the staff and other parents to ensure this continues.
Numbers of children who attend continues to be our biggest challenge and we are constantly working to ensure all local parents are aware of the facilities on offer and the age that their children can attend and be funded. Our numbers are currently increasing and sufficient to meet our operating costs.
We continue to fundraise to raise extra funds for new facilities for the children and have ongoing plans for this.
With the redundancy fund in place we feel that we are still in a good place to continue the pre-school.
