**What the charity does:** Glasgow Orchestral Society is an amateur symphony orchestra in Glasgow with approximately 80 members. We rehearse on Monday evenings and generally preform four concerts a year. We invite different conductors for each concert and perform a wide range of repertoire from classical to new modern works by contemporary composers.

**Objectives:** The Society was formed &#x27;for the study and practice of orchestral music&#x27;.  The purpose of the Society shall be to promote the study, practice and knowledge of music in Glasgow and the surrounding district, and other educational and social purposes connected therewith.
