Objectives: 1. To manage the Senior Citizens' Clubrooms at Cessnook Road, Hurlford. 2. To promote and assist the general good of all old people in the Villages of Hurlford and Crookedholm by assisting the work of statutory authorities and voluntary organisations engaged in providing facilities for physical and mental recreation, developing physical improvement, furthering health, relieving poverty, distress or sickness or in pursuing any objects which now are or hereafter may be deemed law to be charitable. 3. To promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and to that end bring together, in Council representatives of the authorities and organisations engaged in the furtherance of the above purposes or any of them within the villages of Hurlford and Crookedholm. 4. To. assist any other charitable body or bodies financially or otherwise in the furtherance of the above purposes or any of them. 5. To promote and carry out, or assist in promoting and carrying out surveys relating to the needs of the old people and arrange for forwarding to the proper authorities and organisations the relevant facts regarding such cases and causes of distress as are within the power of those authorities and organisations to alleviate. 6. To arrange and provide for or join in arranging and providing for the holding of exhibitions, meetings, lectures and, classes in furtherance of the objects of the Committee or any of them.
